Santa Cruz with Emily
Me, Astro, Danny, Izzy, and Mark went to visit our friend, Emily, in Santa Cruz. Her backyard is awesome! So was her house which was basically a treasure trove of stuff. We hiked up a hill and, back down, we followed a creek and did much rock jumping. I think I slipped a few times (Fail) and kinda twisted my ankle but I just walked it off. It was really fun!
Santa Cruz- Plein Air 02, Digital
I did some digital plein air while we were in Santa Cruz. I am really out of shape with the plein air paintings but carrying this DS is allowing me to grow accustomed to it faster. They aren't that great but hopefully it's a start of something bigger. I still get too caught up with detail... Big shapes, Big shapes... and I definitely could've thrown in more darks.

Empire Seven Gallery- Monsters
I did this during an art session at Empire Seven Studios. I believe it is scheduled once or twice a month, every other Thursday. My friends Sean Boyles and Roan Victor introduced me to the event. I had a fun time, very chilled and relaxed and whatever came out, came out.

Art Exchange- MTB
A bunch of my friends did an art exchange event and I did this piece for my friend, Tara. I based it off a comic she did during our beginning illustration class, as well as graffiti. I pick up a lot of graffiti influence from The Seventh Letter, CBS crew. Craola is probably my favorite writer. Doing art for others is always fun for me to do, and she seemed pretty stoked when I gave it her, so yeah... dope!

IPYB Collaboration
IPYB, Mixed MediaI did this piece with my friend, Bryan Kistler (check his stuff out) and we put it in a Graffiti Show. It was located behind a recycle center, which I thought was a pretty cool place to do an art show at. Collaborating on a piece was a great experience, luckily we didn't complicate choices (but may will next time) and it was a fun and spontaneous process.
